How we formed our local charter:

• • May 2008: Received local charter from National Miracle League in Conyers, GA
  • October 2008: Formed Miracle League of Stanislaus County Corporation
  • April 2009: Signed lease for field location on the corner of Tully and Pelandale Rd in Modesto
  • July 2009: Received 501(c)3 status as a non-profit organization

Why we’re doing this:

• • It is estimated that 8.8% of 5-20 year olds in Modesto are disabled (physical/multiple handicaps, mental disability, etc.)
  • An estimated 1, 290 students in Modesto City Schools are disabled
  • Miracle League will draw athletes from entire region since this is the first Miracle League in Northern California
